Istra was founded in 1991 by the skills of a previous company founded in 1978 that dealt with plant engineering. Istra begins its story as a company specialized in PLC programming, to meet the new demands of a greatly revolutionized market by the arrival of Programmable Logic Controllers.
EXPANSION
Over the years and the company growth, in 1995 Istra decided to expand the offered services by developing a workshop for switchboards designing and constructing. Finally in 1998, it comes the plant engineering section: Istra is preparing to face the new millennium with an offer of services and solutions for an industry which was even more complete and competitive.
FROM THE 2000S UP TO THE PRESENT
Istra consolidates its presence in the market by acquiring customers around the world and distinguishing itself for bringing tailor-made solutions ranging from design and construction of plants and switchboards to supply monitoring and controlling systems for industrial automation. Over the years, Istra has gained a well-established experience in the fields of industry, food, energy, ecology, infrastructure, wood and material handling.
